Poor posture has a profound effect on our health and well being. Yet the effect of posture on issues from back pain and breathing to digestion and headaches is often overlooked. Improving your posture however is not just a simple matter of standing up straight. In fact, most of us have tried that approach and it just doesn’t work. In this class we will explore practical ways the Alexander Technique can help us better understand and improve our posture so we can experience more joy and ease in everyday movement.

All classes will be taught by Lauren Hill, AmSAT Certified Alexander Technique teacher. Some work will be done on the floor. Students need to bring an exercise mat to each class session.

Registration is through St. Paul Public Schools Continuting Education. To register go to http://commed.spps.org. You will find the class listed under "Adult--Health/Safety"
