Everyone can benefit from the Alexander Technique!.  This Introductory Alexander Technique group class meets for six sessions.  The Alexander Technique invites change, increases awareness and introduces freedom in movement and a newfound and simple elegance in functioning.  Many of us unconsciously carry habitual and unnecessary tension.  Learn to transform such tendencies through increasing self awareness and conscious thought.  Co-ordination and balance improve, range of motion increases, daily energy levels grow and greater general wellbeing is achieved.  The Alexander Technique enables us to alter movement and behavioral choices helping to prevent chronic pain and injury and gain skills for independent application of this exciting and beneficial technique.

Come join us in this popular class at the Midtown YWCA.  Explore group and partner activities and learn how the Alexander Technique can help you to do anything better!  Taught by American Society of the Alexander Technique (AmSAT) certified instructor Lisa First.  Lisa has been teaching for over 20 years and welcomes you to this life enhancing Technique.  Please come join us!
