Experience first-hand why people around the world have been using the Alexander Technique to create more ease and pose of mind and body for over 100 years. Come and explore this method of kinesthetic re-education and become more aware of habits that may be causing you unnecessary tension, stress, discomfort, and pain. Enhance the quality of your life and performance in a variety of daily and work-related activities, sports and fitness, and performing arts. Individuals using the technique report the following benefits: more comfort and ease, increased energy, better balance and coordination, improved breathing and posture, and changes in mental clarity and moods.

This one-hour complimentary lecture demonstration is presented by Lisa Galbraith Heyl, a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique. She is a teaching member of the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT); and has been teaching for over 25 years. She also has over 20 years experience in teaching movement arts.

A 6-class Introduction series will begin on April 4 - May 16, 10 - 11:30 a.m., with individual instruction in a group setting and one 15-minute private lesson.

Registration for both the free lecture & class series: www.HopkinsCommunityEd.org or 952-988-4070
