an interview by Glynn MacDonald

This film shows Walter Carrington in his study at Lansdowne Road. He relates the story of how he heard of the Alexander Technique and his first meeting with F. M. Alexander. He discusses how to communicate the Technique, introducing “inhibition” to children, and the complexity of explaining “direction”. He takes us back to the origins of the Technique--breathing and the importance of breathing out. [38 minutes, 2006, Bardo Productions, imported]
