Pain Science for AT Teachers

with Tim Cacciatore, (PhD, MSTAT), and pain management specialist Mari Hodges (MScMed Pain Mgmt, TPS, M.AmSAT)

We are pleased to announce that we will be offering Pain Science for Alexander Teachers again. This course will run for 8 weeks, from February 9th to March 29th. We are now offering two weekly live discussion sessions, with times suitable for America, Europe and Asia.

Many clients come to the AT with pain issues, and often the AT is helpful. But there are many unanswered questions and misconceptions about pain, such as what causes chronic pain and why does the AT help?

Join us to delve into the many factors that contribute to pain in a systematic way that looks at the whole picture, in a way that is specifically tailored to AT teachers.. Through recorded video lectures, live discussion, self paced quizzes and more, you’ll learn about how pain works and gain a better understanding of how to develop optimal strategies for working with the unique challenges of people with persistent pain. You’ll learn about cutting-edge pain science and how emerging interventions are addressing pain with greater success. We’ll focus discussions on the unique contribution that the AT brings to pain management and recovery through a lens of modern pain science.
